Madison McElfresh

Hello everyone! My name is Madison McElfresh, and I am the 2026 Jackson Apple Festival Queen. I am the seventeen-year-old daughter of Brian and Shay McElfresh and the proud older sister of Mason. I attend Jackson High School, where I am a member of both the varsity and competition cheerleading squads. I am also a member and captain of the Jackson Ironladies Softball Team. In addition, I am involved in several school organizations, including DFCA, FCA, My Brother’s Buddy, and the Media Team. After graduation, I plan to attend The Ohio State University and major in Radiologic Sciences. I hope to become a radiologic technologist because I enjoy helping others and making a positive difference in their lives. Radiologic technologists play an important role in healthcare by providing images that help doctors diagnose and treat patients. Because I am interested in both science and technology, I am excited about a career that allows me to combine those interests while working directly with people. Furthermore, I appreciate that every day brings new experiences and opportunities to learn and grow within the medical field. When I am not at school or participating in extracurricular activities, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching college softball, cooking, reading, being outdoors, and babysitting. One of the reasons I enjoy serving as the Jackson Apple Festival Queen is because it allows me to represent a community that means so much to me. I love meeting new people, promoting the traditions of the festival, and serving as a positive role model for younger girls. This experience has helped me grow as a leader, build confidence, and give back to the community that has always supported me. I am also incredibly grateful to share this year with my best friends, Alana and Jayda, as well as Little Miss Queen Sophie, who has become like a little sister to me. Their friendship and support have made this experience even more meaningful. Being able to represent Jackson and the community that has shaped me into the person I am today is truly an honor. The Apple Festival brings people together to celebrate our traditions, our pride, and the spirit of our hometown. I hope everyone enjoys every parade, concert, ride, and apple-inspired memory during the 85th Annual Jackson Apple Festival and experiences everything that makes this festival so special.

Alana Stockmeister,

Hello everyone, my name is Alana Stockmeister, and I am the 2026 Jackson Apple Festival 1st attendant. I am the seventeen-year-old daughter of Seth and Lindsey Stockmeister, and the older sister of Katryn and Breanna Stockmeister. I am currently a senior at Jackson High School, where I am a four-year member and captain of both the sideline and competition cheerleading squads. I am also active in various clubs and organizations including JHS Media Digital Signage Manager, National Honor Society treasurer, Treasurer for the Class of 2027, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Leos Club, Women in Business, Drug Free Clubs of America Ambassador, Student Council, Student Health Council, Drama Club, Business Professionals of America Parliamentarian, and a Southern Ohio Soles Representative. Through these activities, I have had the opportunity to serve my school and community while developing leadership skills and lifelong friendships. After graduation, I plan to attend The Ohio State University and pursue a career in the medical field. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, boating, and attending Ohio State football games. Having grown up attending the Jackson Apple Festival, it is truly an honor to represent our community as the 2026 1st Attendant. This experience has meant so much to me, and I am grateful for all the people I have met so far. I’m especially thankful for Madi, Jayda, and Sophie who made the journey even more memorable. I would also like to thank JAFE, volunteers, and community members who make this tradition possible each year. Thank you all, and I hope you enjoy the 85th Annual Apple Festival, filled with rolling hills, apple thrills, and great memories.

Second Attendant

Jayda Montgomery 

Hello, i’m Jayda Montgomery your 2026 Jackson Apple Festival 2nd attendant. I am the 16 year old daughter of Jason and Amber Montgomery, along with being the sister of Jaylynn and Jansen Montgomery. I am a Junior at Jackson High school where i am involved in various clubs and activities such as, Jackson sideline and competition cheerleading teams, Drug Free Clubs of America ambassador, Student Health council, Fellow Christian Athletes and My brothers buddy. I also am always pushing myself academically by taking all honors and AP classes that are provided to me. After I graduate I plan to attend The Ohio State University and major in nursing. I spend most of my free time going to the race track to support my family, hanging out with my friend’s and family, taking care of my two ducks, and watching movies. Being apart of this amazing family has been nothing short of a dream and i’m so honored to represent this amazing community at this years Apple Festival where we are celebrating its 85th year of fun and tradition. Im incredibly thankful for everyone who helps me behind the scenes and all the amazing girls i have met at every festival! I am so grateful i got this opportunity to travel Ohio with my Apple sisters Madi, Alana, and Sophie and our apple parents Rob and Sharilyn Leonord.
